To navigate QuickTime VR, click and drag your cursor as you “spin around” a scene.
There are some cursors with which you should become familiar. When you look at the image, you should see a bar of cursors below the image.
The first cursor to the far left is a “Back” button. When viewing a multi-node tour, clicking on this will take you back to the previous node. This cursor will be disabled if you have not clicked on a link/hot-spot.
The next cursor to the right is a “Zoom Out” cursor. By clicking on this cursor, you can zoom out from your current view. You can also do this by holding down the “Control” key and clicking the mouse button at the same time.
The next cursor to the right is a “Zoom In” cursor. By clicking on this cursor, you can zoom in from your current view. You can also do this by holding down the “Shift” key and clicking the mouse button at the same time.
The next cursor to the right is a “Hot-Spot” cursor. By clicking on this cursor, you can see “hot-spots” that link to other nodes. When this button is activated, hot-spots will appear as a shaded area (see sample above). Click on the shaded areas to enter that part of the scene.
